Applied Computer Science

Applied Computer Science professionals help develop and utilize technology and other resources to solve problems and improve efficiency. The curriculum provides solid industry-relevant expertise, as well as management skills, needed to successfully supervise and manage high performing teams involved in software development and technology deployment.


Graduate study in architecture is an exhilarating and challenging enterprise, an opportunity for students to develop a focused position within a broad and rapidly evolving field. The graduate curriculum promotes research and design investigations on the linkage between theoretical frameworks, design intentions, and the tangible, material nature of architecture. 

Candidates with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Wentworth can complete the program in a single year, while external candidates with a four-year, NAAB-based degree from another institution typically complete the program in two years.

Civil Engineering

The Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering program at Wentworth Institute of Technology is designed to educate technical professionals in post-graduate civil engineering principles. The program is designed for part-time students, provides maximum flexibility relative to academic delivery and format, and can be completed in under two (2) years.  The curriculum is organized into two (2) areas of specialization, construction engineering and infrastructure engineering.

Wentworth’s Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering degree is a part-time program that gives students the ability to further their careers in the profession of civil engineering while still working full-time. Students will take Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering courses on campus in a face-to-face format.

Construction Management

This professional degree program is designed to educate construction professionals in advanced management principles and in construction management issues, topics, and practices. Graduates of the program will be prepared to assume advanced managerial and leadership positions in construction-related careers.

Facility Management

The Master of Science in Facility Management program is designed to educate students in foundational post-graduate management principles and enhance facility management skills and knowledge. Students will learn the leadership and business skills necessary to respond to the demand of keeping their facilities highly efficient and functional, and will be prepared to assume leadership positions in the facility management profession.

Project Management

The Master of Science in Project Management is designed for working professionals who want to advance their technical skills while learning the most up-to-date and innovative management strategies. In this program, students will gain valuable, hands-on experience in initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing a project – on time and on budget – using the latest project management software and technology. Our unique mix of courses, including Troubled Projects, ERP, and Virtual Project Management will give you a competitive advantage in today’s rapidly changing IT environment, and can get you well on the road to becoming an advanced project manager in less than two years. 

Technology Management

The Master of Science in Technology Management degree is designed to elevate students’ business acumen, strategic thinking, and people skills, all within the context of the issues and challenges specific to the technical world. Graduates of the program will be equipped with the management skills, expertise, and ethics necessary to be successful within technology-based enterprises.
